K-9 & Special Education Teacher
I am mom to three wonderful kids: a 22-year-old son, a 17-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son. I have lived all over our beautiful country, from Alberta, to Ontario, to Newfoundland to BC and because of this, our family loves road trips! We now reside in Kamloops and love to visit new places around Alberta and BC. I have been teaching for 18 years, from Public School to Montessori Public School, to Homeschooling, to opening a Christian Classical school to my new venture here at Anchor Academy.
I have worked with a lot of children across various age ranges, levels of abilities (including special needs) and academic subjects. I have taught most of the grades in my years of teaching/homeschooling and I look forward to helping students in K-12 and Inclusive Education!
I love to help families to create a learning environment that will honour God and honour the diversity of each individual child, as God created them. I enjoy reading, family road trips, my pets, music, crocheting and being an active member at our church. I feel truly blessed to be a part of Anchor Academy and cannot wait to see what God has in store for me here.
