Anchor Academy does not offer a formal summer session. Courses may be begun in the summer, based on high school vice principal approval. Enrollment openings are limited.
Teacher involvement and engagement during this time is very limited and may, at times, impede a student’s ability to progress through a course.
Summer courses will begin the first week following the July long weekend. If an earlier start is required, please contact melanie.merke@ark.net. Courses will remain open and will not be closed before October 1, allowing students the opportunity to make progress over the summer and into the early fall. Current courses will remain accessible in D2L, and students may continue working independently, with the understanding that teacher support will be limited during this period.
Please note that courses completed or in progress over the summer will not be added to student transcripts until October, once the regular school year resumes.
